Kiwi Sports
On thursday 18th of may Rm10 had kiwi sports. We had kiwi sports in the hall for kiwi sports we did netball. We had two coaches Crissy and Antonia.
We had a little game called shore shark sea. When Antonia says shark we run to the middle when she says sea we run to the far right when she says shore we run to the far left. The last one there is out. When you are out you have to watch the other people and tell them that they were last and then they are out.
After that game they told us 4 passes chest-pass, overhead-pass, bounce-pass and shoulder-pass. Chest pass is when you put the ball at you chest and pass it to the person on the other side and they will do the same thing
Marae
Marae’s are important to our community because they care about homeless and they want to help people.
There are heaps of marae’s for the homeless people. They build heaps of marae because there are heaps of homeless.
Maraes have food for the homeless because homeless are too pour to buy anything. So the marae buys heaps of food and lets the homeless in for free so they don’t starv.
Homeless lives on the street so maraes let them in because it is so sad.Marae care so much about the homeless because the ground feels really hard like rocks and you can get sick from the ground because it is so cold and you can get sick by the rain and the wind.
But when you go into a marae it is nice and comfy and warm. Some homeless people have
kids to.
The big fire!!!
One windy night There was a family and the (dad)stan was making dinner. The (dad)stan was cooking a big dinner for his family. When the dad was cooking he had to go check something and once he got there he smelt something burning so he ran over and he sore a big fire. The fire! Started to put other things on fire!. When those things got on fire he “told
mabel and dipper to get out of the house” so they ran outside really fast but dipper went to his dad and grabbed zuse (his baby and ran outside with him and then he ran back in and grabbed the phone. When he grabbed the phone he turned around and sore that the door was on fire so he ran out the back door and when he got out he ran around to mable and zuse and called the fire people to come.
There dad turned on all the taps and he jumped out the window because all the doors were blocked and he was up stairs. It was a hard landing but he was still alive and he fell over on the grass because he hurt himself really bad. Dipper and Mabel heard him hit the ground really hard so they went over and helped him to get around to the front when they did that dipper put zuse down and helped him. When they got around the front dipper went around to the back again to grab zeus but he wasn't there so he keeped running around but he still wasn't there so he went back to his dad and mabel and zeus was there. The fire looked like it was going out. After 2 minutes it was all gone when it all went out the fire people just got there and then they said where's the fire and the dad said it is all gone. When the mum got back home she said ‘’where is our house’’ and then stan said ‘’we don’t have a house now’’.
