what I did at school this morning

What I did at school this morning is walk around playing rugby held and after that the bell rang but we didn't hear it I don't know why but then we lined up for assembly when we got there the whole school had to sit down and watch the class that was up top standing. They told the leaders to lead us in the school karakiea and then after that they showed us a video how they made there Africa food thing after wards they did there dance.

About my halloween

what I did in Halloween is pick up Dyson and I was with my dad, step mum, step sis and my little brother. There were other people who joined us and there was this boy that was cool. We left a 4:OO and on the way we already started with a lot of candy the we were walking around the block but the way I planned it is walking around the whole neighborhood but with more houses it was okay walking around the block because it was a very BIG one. After wards we had to cross the road because this  boy with a pumpkin mask on had a lot of lollies but when we got there it was only a little bit of lollies left when we got home me and Dyson played on the tramp then after that we stayed up late until early hours in the morning playing fortnite.

Teachers strike

TEACHERS ON STRIKE

Wednesday 14th of August teachers from schools went on strike because the government wasn’t paying the teachers enough money so they couldn't do there job.

The teachers Wanted everybody to know that they couldn’t do there job because they didn’t get paid for doing there job and that’s not good because they do a lot of work for money

at glentaylor school Rm 9, Rm 10 and some of Rm 8 did kawa of kia. At kawa of kia we learnt some shortcuts and some is Ctrl, Shift and Q twice then that will make you sign out faster than before. There is this one that if you hold Ctrl, then the search button after that click H then you will be on high contrast mode if you look at were the eagle  is you can see another short cut and it will come up with popular shortcuts and more they are very cool and hopefully they help you when your doing something on your computer you could probably use them.

Fortnite

Fortnite is a game and is ran by a company called Epic Games. This game is all about strategy and having fun with friends or other online people this game started with 2 million people and it is the most popular game in the world. on this game people say that ninja is the best at the game and some people say that this 11 year old kid is better than ninja and his name is HIGHSKY that is his youtube name and ninja's so if you want to you can search them up on youtube. Maby if you search them up you could watch them and see how they play and then you could play then probably get very good at fortnite. Fortnite has been going on since 25th July 2017 all the way to 7th August 2018 and that has been a long time. By now there will be over 2 million people playing this game and some people like me are so addicted to this game they cant stop playing it even at bed time on school days they will probably be sneaking to turn on their game but then afterwards they get caught.

Yesterday the 30th of July 2018 Room 9 wen't out for kiwi sports before we wen't out side to do what we where doing we watched a video clip on YouTube about the game. halfway in the video there was this lizard that the Maori people feast on

Hey this term Room 9 is learning about healthy choices my big question is: Why being healthy is good? Got any answers?

New Jackets

On this day me and my friends got new Jackets. We got it because we had no other jackets or some of them were form or old school it was kinda warm when i put it on and then it was lunch time. After lunch time when i got in it was very hot so i took it off and then put it in my bag, At home time i went to go get my bag and then i looked in it but it wasn't there so then i looked on the ground and it was there.

Dance mat typing

Dance mat typing is a game for kids to help them typer faster. As you go through the levels it gets harder and harder and it shows you were to put your fingers and then you need to try and not look at the keys when you are typing. There are a couple of levels and then your fingers will go on different keys but they will stay the same but you just have to move your fingers to different keys. In the game there are animals that speak and they all have different languages. In the first three levels there will be a goat the a octopus and then a rooster.

This week i looked at oat the goat video we wrote a story and this is only my beginning

In the beginning there was a goat named oat he had a goal to reach the tippy top of the mountain, on the way he jumped to rock to rock afterwards he got tired so then he sat down. Next to a rock Then he heard laughing so then he went to go check and it was sheep laughing at a weird thing. Oat felt sorry so he went out of his hiding spot and asked him if he was OK, when he said that the sheep left and he felt happy then he told oat his name and it was Amos so Amos joined his journey. To the top.

Two weeks of term 1

we do swimming everyday but not Mondays, we have  kiwi can every Tuesdays, we have kiwi sports every Thursdays, and every Fridays we have library
